Pronation

Pronation is the natural way your foot lands and rolls upon impact with the ground. This helps to absorb the shock. There are 3 main types of pronation:

Overpronation

Foot rolls inwards (excessively) when running/walking. More visible wear pattern on inner sole of shoes.

Neutral

Foot hits the ground evenly when running/walking. Balanced wear pattern on sole of shoes.

Undepronation

Foot rolls outwards when running/walking. Visible wear pattern on outer sole of shoes.
