The cushioning below the toes is insufficient but heels are cushioned well. I also feel the shoe doesn't allow the heel to be stable as it can move a bit due to the fabric

Comfortable and relyable
It’s not the first pair of Gel Kayano I buy. Quality is certified, reliability for long distance runs and duration. Difficult to head to something different when you run as a pronator. Definitely recommended.

Buying online and fitting.
Order two different sizes as there can be small variations in fit and comfort. You can then return the pair that doesn’t quite meet your needs. These replaced a pair Gel-Kayano 25, that lasted a really long time.

Weiterhin der Beste Laufschuh bei Überpronation
Ich bin seit über 10 Jahren mit den Kayano unterwegs (zwischendurch mit der aktuell nicht mehr existenten GT 3000 Linie). Ich bin weiterhin zufrieden und werde bei der Reihe bleiben. Passen top, keine Probleme mit den Knien und Knöchelgelenken seit ich auf Asics umgestiegen bin.

Heels feel like they are falling out; rude and incompetent Asics sales info telephone agents who told me to look up width in centimetre info myself. Asics stores can't tell me the width in cm either on the phone. So I had to return so many sizes.
I had very good experience with Kayano in the past, but this version of Kayano was completely uncomfortable. The width is so narrow that I had to buy 3cm longer than my true length, to try again. The shoes feel not cushioned in general, and the heels felt like they were falling out of the shoes.
