Knock off the kilometres and the strain on your feet in the lightweight GEL-Nimbus 19, now with improved fit and comfort. This long-distance running shoe for men offers huge amounts of cushioning thanks to the FluidRide 2.0 midsole, FlyteFoam bottom layer midsole and SpEVA top layer midsole, which increases bounce-back characteristics while decreasing midsole breakdown.

Made for neutral pronation road runners, the GEL-Nimbus 19 for men has a visible rear foot gel positioned closer to the foot, making every stride easier, softer and more comfortable, whether you’re aiming for a half or full marathon. A Fluid fit upper with gradient mesh offers different layers which support the expansion and contraction of the foot's skin.

Due to design improvements, ASICS running shoe experts recommend choosing a 0.5 size bigger for the GEL-Nimbus 19.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First pair of ASICS Relatively new to the running. So experience with different footwear is limited. This is my 3rd pair of trainers this year and a replacement for my second pair (Adidas ultra boost) which weren’t stable enough in the upper. These fixed all the problems I was having with those. Upper stability was great, no longer felt like my foot was trying to slide off the midsole. Quality and comfort of materials is spot on. Unfortunately I got the sizing wrong and after 4/5 runs I noticed they were tight in the toe box causing too much side pressure on my small toe. So definitely go with the 0.5 to 1 size up I’d say. Also I believe the tight toe box has been addressed in the next model.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from To small Bought half a side up but still too narrow and small for me to be happy keeping

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too narrow and short I found there was no room for my toes and I've never had a problem with any running trainers size before. The width is quite narrow too. Overall I'm very disappointed and would not recommend buying this version of the nimbus. Avoid 19s at all cost and go for the older models which fit better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New fit too tight for a ride foot I bought the product a couple of months ago having worn the 2 previous versions. The new fit doesn't work for me as it is too narrow.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ruined Imagine that you had a favourite woollen jumper that you'd worn for years, and every winter you got it out of the cupboard and it fitted perfectly. One day you decide to put it in the washing machine on a hot wash and then put it in the tumble dryer. You really really still like the look of your jumper, but when you put it back on it doesn't quite fit. Doesn't matter what you do, it's just a little bit small and tight and uncomfortable; even though it's the same jumper and it's fitted you perfectly for 10 years. You decide to wear the jumper out. Sensing your disappointment your friends try and console you by saying that it's upgraded, it's an improved fit and it still looks like a really good jumper. But deep down you feel disappointed that it's been tampered with and you are going to have to buy a different make. Here endeth the fable about changing something that been excellent for years
