The ASICS GEL-Challenger 11 offers updated features to this performance tennis shoe for women, and is made to keep you light on your feet so you can sprint across the baseline. Thanks to the personalised heel fit (P.H.F), the shoe moulds to your foot the more you wear it, giving better stability and a made-to-measure feel. The rearfoot and forefoot GEL cushioning system provides a soft, protected landing so you can move quickly across the court, while the specially designed anti-gravel tongue prevents small stones and debris from entering the shoe.
The PGuard toe protector helps prevent damage from toe drag, while ASICS High Abrasion Resistance rubber (AHAR+) gives you the grip you need to play your best game.

So Comfortable.I bought a pair, played a match with them the day I received them, and ordered another pair. Now I will rotate them so I have great sneakers for a while without having to find a new model.

First ImpressionsAs a fencer, I find it difficult to find shoes that fit my sport. I need a lot of cushioning on the back edge of the heel as I slam it in the floor about a hundred times per training when I lunge. I also need good grip so I can change direction at relatively high speeds. On top of this, I need a fairly flexible shoe that isn't too rigid on the sides. My first impression of this shoe was pretty awful. When I tried it on it was way too tight in the front part of the shoe and I could feel the top of the shoe pressing down on the "knuckle" of my pinky toe even when the shoes were completely unlaced. Fortunately, I decided to try the shoes on without the insoles and they fit perfectly! When I came down more in the shoe I got the space that my feet needed. I went and bought myself a thinner insole so as not to stand on the inside stitching of the shoe and this has really worked out for me. My impression of the shoe from having been to one competition and a few trainings is that all the boxes are ticked. My feet are really comfortable and my heels don't hurt a single bit when I lunge. Despite being quite chunky shoes compared to many other fencing shoes, I don't feel clumsy in these shoes but rather very stable. They have excellent grip too! However, I've heard that this might wear off after a month or so of use, but so far I'm really happy with my purchase.

Asics Tennis ShoesI will be returning the Tennis shoes as they are faulty or badly finished inside on the right foot and caused lots of pain within ten minutes of wearing them.

Hurt FeetThis is the first and last time I will buy the brand. The shoes have hurt my feet from day one. They are the right size but continue to be stiff and not flexible.
