The JAPAN S™ shoes are based on one of our throwback offerings from 1981. This low-top silhouette features a court-inspired toe box and throwback colourways that take your mind and body to new heights.
Updated with a lightweight design and a modified cupsole, this shoe is made for comfort. This heritage style is also paired with nostalgic branding, like the ASICS Stripes on the quarter panels and ASICS lettering at the heel.
Worn by basketball players on the hardwood in the 1980s, this shoe reimagines its iconic court details through a modern lens.

Great shoe and has that vintage look that will never go out of fashion. Well made with a great cushioning from the Ortholite insole (unusual for a shoe of this nature but welcomed). No pinch points and true to size. Very happy with these.
