Works ok when I work out.
They are nice but I think I personally need more padding under my knees doing kata (I use min during Iaido).

My new favorite knee pad!
Soft and cushioning, with gently tapered edges on the padding and soft edges, unlike most knee pads that tend to dig into the calf and thigh (this is probably why people rate them as bigger than others?).
