Our key focus for the GT-1000™ 11 GTX shoe was to make it softer and smoother. With GORE-TEX™ paneling on the upper, this shoe helps prevent rain and snow from entering the shoe’s interior. FLYTEFOAM™ cushioning in the midsole is tuned with a lower density than the previous version. Teamed with GEL™ technology, this combination creates softer landings and smoother transitions. LITETRUSS™ technology is placed on the midsole’s inside angle to reduce pronation. It helps produce a more supportive stride while keeping overpronation at bay.

Good fitting running shoes
I bought these with Gore Tex so my feet would be less wet with winter running, so far good! Pleased I bought a half size larger (6.5/40) as suggested on some reviews as my actual size (6/39) would have been too tight. Comfortable winter running shoes with good arch support.

Very small fitting
Very small fitting - had to return and get bigger sizes. Ended up needing 1.5 sizes bigger than normal. Otherwise seems comfortable and looks good

Small shoes and bad customer service
Smaller than the other 3 pairs of Asics I've owned so needed to return but I don't have a printer and Asics wouldn't help me out by sending a return label to me or allowing me to write the address on the front instead. Unable to leave house atm so will need to wait to try to find a printer that works at a library. Returns through the website are a hassle so won't buy again.
